Ibiza is a land of sun, sea, and good music - perfect for chilling out. Italian lamp maker Oluce has taken that concept and fleshed it out in the Ibiza speakers that not only sound great, they offer ambient lighting as well. Depending on your choice, the Ibiza speakers stand between 21" and 45" in height on a brushed-steel pole, featuring a 20-watt compact fluorescent bulb and a tiny speaker that keeps the ambience just right to melt away the day's stress. The housing is made from opaline polyethylene, while a metal speaker face makes it ooze with coolness. The high cost of such fashionable items in your home starts at $700 and goes all the way up to $900. Now let me dig for my Cafe Del Mar CDs to go along with these...

Belkin, just like Griffin, has jumped onto the iPhone accessory bandwagon by unveiling an Acrylic Case for it, giving you full access to the touchscreen while offering a degree of protection simultaneously. The Acrylic Case also comes with a transformable kickstand/blet clip for video viewing purposes, although with 8GB of memory you won't get much viewing done. The Slim-Fit Case is made from premium leather, but you won't be able to use the iPhone when it is nestled within. As for the machine-washable Sport Armband, you get to lug your iPhone around effortlessly while pounding the pavement. The Acrylic Case, Slim-Fit Case, and Sport Armband will be available this month at the same price tag - $29.99.

No, this is not an electric or hybrid car, but the Classic 1966 Shelby Cobra runs on batteries simply because it is remote controlled. If you'd like to know, only two Shelby Cobra Super Snakes were manufactured back in 1966, and they were the fastest street legal Shelby Cobras in the world at that time. The remote controlled version migh not have 800 horses underneath the hood, but they can still zip along in speeds of up to 10 mph, featuring both front and rear suspension that takes a fair amount of punishment when going through bumpy terrain. Its headlights and tail lights are also fully functional, while the hood can be opened for you to admire a highly detailed engine block. The car runs on a 9.6-volt rechargeable battery, while the remote control uses a 9-volt battery. The remote controlled Classic 1966 Shelby Cobra retails for $79.95 each.

Barely a week into the iPhone's release and Griffin has already unveiled the PowerJolt Car Charger for it, making it the inaugural accessory for the iPhone from Griffin. The PowerJolt is plugged into your vehicle's cigarette lighter or accessory power socket on one end, while the other is connected to the iPhone in order to charge the device. When your iPhone is fully juiced up, the charge indicator will glow gree, while amber shows otherwise. Don't worry about power surges since it comes with an automotive fuse to guard against such unexpected disasters. If you already own an iPod that uses a full-size dock connector, you'll be pleased to know that this $20 accessory is backwards compatible with those as well.

Maxian has just launched the successor to its T600 portable media player, the L600. This device comes with a 4.3" WQVGA LCD screen that displays video and images in 480 x 272 pixels resolution, and a choice between 40GB or 80GB hard drives. It isn't just all play with this though, since the L600 can also hook up with 15 other educational websites that lets you watch video lectures on-the-go. In addition, you can run a couple of tasks simultaneously, such as listening to music while reading an e-book or watching a cartoon, but I find that to be an exercise in futility since you won't be able to maximize the enjoyment of either activity. Additional functions include Text-to-Speech, real-time TV recording, and an alarm clock. The 40GB and 80GB L600 will retail for $348 and $400 respectively.

The "for Dummies" brand from Wiley is famous worldwide, and Wiley has taken one step further by fleshing out the FD-35 GPS Navigation for Dummies device. While 2 million Points-of-Interest (POIs) might sound like a lot in theory, it actually isn't enough for most people. Manufactured by Maylog, the jury is still out on the FD-35 GPS navigation device on whether it is user friendly or not. For instance, the specifications claim that the FD-35 contains maps of both US and Canada, but displays an Italian language screen instead. Perhaps that's just a mistake on the graphic artist's part - does anyone else know anything about this? You'll get the FD-35 with each purchase of this book this Fall, just like how the Digital Camera for Dummies book came with a barebones digital camera for you to start snapping.

Fujitsu has just launched its External Hard Drive, a departure from its regular internal drives. Each of these new 300GB External Hard Drives come with Cryptainer, guarding your precious data inside with 448-bit Blowfish encryption, switching to 256-bit AES algorithm for situations when encryption speed is not top priority. You also get 16 points of shock resistance with this USB 2.0 device, while the EZ Gig II suite lets you conjure up clones of drives and compressed images in a jiffy. The 120GB and 300GB Fujitsu External Hard Drive will retail for $129 and $229 respectively. It ought to work across all platforms, but for those who want to take advantage of its specialized backup and security software, Windows is the only way to go. Just a quick question - how many of you guys actually encrypt your data at home?

The Mini Cooling Fan Pen is one gadget that targets adolescents and tweens, featuring a tiny dual-blade fan attached on the opposite end of the writing side of the pen. You can now keep yourself cool with a mini gust of wind while trying to think of the next sentence in your essay, to the envy of others. Of course, should your coffee be too hot to sip on, you can always use this to cool things down. I must say the idea is pretty interesting, but chances are an executive will probably want to avoid carrying one of these while attending a board meeting. The Mini Cooling Fan Pen measures 14cm x 1cm x 1cm and retails for £4.99.

If you were Apple, would you take advantage of their multi-touch technology found in the cellphone? The chances are yes, and chances are Apple will include more than 200 patents in their new MacBooks that will be released this fall. Imagine a MacBook with multi-touch enabled touchpads - although it is hard to see how that will make things easier compared to using a mouse. When peering into the crystal ball, this could be the first step towards a full-sized Tablet Mac sometime in the future. Do you think this rumor holds any water, or is it just another morsel from GossipsVille?

The Electro Belt concept is interesting as it not only helps you keep your pants in place, but it also boasts an integrated MP3 player. The USB connection has a twofold purpose - to transfer songs over as well as power the device. You can also customize the buckle with different face plates, adding an extra dash of personalization. Designed by Kristian Paljasma, the Electro Belt looks like it would do well if released commercially, but they had better release different kinds of belt designs in order to appeal to a wider demographic.
