We don?t really make it a habit of covering news regarding cosmetics and makeup, but when those things somehow merge with technology, that?s a different story all together. Now we?re sure that some of you guys have seen the Nokia Lumia devices, like the 800 and 900 that have come in some pretty bright and eye-catching colors, such as pink and cyan. Well it seems that in an attempt to make the Lumia 900 more female-friendly, cosmetics brand Duality Cosmetics has launched a nail polish that is supposedly in the same finish as the pink Nokia Lumia 900.
We can imagine this will look pretty striking for women when they hold their pink Lumia devices with their matching pink fingernails! The bad news is that this batch of nail polishes are expected to be limited in capacity and will only be available in one-day-only salons in Dallas, Denver and Los Angeles. Now we have to wonder if perhaps cyan might be the color that will be next.

Monthly prizes include an iPad and a pair of Sennheisser headphones, while gamers who end up as the ultimate winner will be crowned the ?UK?s Ultimate Assassin?, be immortalized in a future Hitman game and will also be presented with a Golden Joystick at this year?s awards. We?ve seen the use of solar to power lights, gadgets, recharge batteries and etc., but to use the power to the sun to purify water? Well, that?s something you don?t really see every day. A prototype device put together by Ryan Lynch and Marcus Triest hopes that with their invention, people in the world without access to clean water will now be able obtain some simply by walking around with a bag that harnesses the power of the sun to help purify water.
This is achieved thanks to the SODIS method of water purification whereby PET bottles filled with water are left in the sun in which the sun?s UV-A radiation will kill the majority of germs in the water, rendering it relatively safe to drink. Unfortunately by using PET bottles, this process will take about six hours to purify 3L of water, however with this prototype device, its creators are claiming it will be able to purify 9.4L in the same amount of time while carried about. No word on when we can expect this solar bag to be manufactured and provided to developing countries around the world, but it certainly is a pretty exciting prospect.

If you?ve always wanted to be able to capture those epic moments while surfing the waves but would rather not hire someone to film you, or invest in a waterproof camera, fret not as Mophie has revealed the Outride iPhone accessory. As pictured above, the Outride is a casing for the iPhone that not only will protect it from getting wet, but will also come with a mounting system and a wide-angle lens to capture those action shots/videos. It is made from polycarbonate and will offer high-impact protection for those who plan to use it for more extreme-type sports. To top it off, Mophie has also announced that they will be launching a free app alongside the Outride. This app is basically a social networking app where videographers can create a profile and upload videos taken and share them with other users. The Outride will be priced at $130 and will be compatible with the iPhone 4/4S and is expected to be up for grabs mid-September.

One of the cool things about Blizzard?s World of Warcraft was that it had an Armory feature. For those unfamiliar, it was basically a portal online that players could access to view the characters, profiles and even 3D models of other players? characters from the game. Unfortunately that is a feature missing from Diablo 3, which while isn?t really a big deal, would no doubt be welcome by those who have farmed for hundreds of hours and who have gear that they?d like to show off to their friends.
Now we know that a Diablo 3 armory is indeed on its way, but there has been no word as to a specific release date, at least until recently when Blizzard uploaded this mysterious image onto their Diablo 3 Facebook page. As you can see in the image above, it certainly does hint at an armory and hopefully the image is an indication that the armory for Diablo 3 could be launching soon. If that is a feature you?re looking forward to, be sure to stay tuned and check back with us at a later date for more updates.
