Sony 360 degree 3D display

Sony has unveiled a prototype of its 360 degree 3D display at Tokyo's Digital Contents Expo later this Thursday. The prototype stands at arouind 10.6" in height, measuring 5.1" in diameter, and will probably see usage as a digital sign or a really different digital photo frame in your home. It is capable of supporting a mere 24-bit, 96 x 128 resolution stereoscopic color image without the need for a pair of 3D glasses to get the full effect.
