If you can't keep your favorite gadgets physcially on you or in your line of sight at all times (and if you can, are you a cyborg?) and worry about either leaving them behind or having them leave you behind, you might consider getting them a Bodyguard. Attach the transmitter to your device, the monitor your belt - and an alarm will sound if you are separated from your tech by more than 100 feet (or, over 30 feet if you're extra cautious). The trick to this, of course, is to remember to keep the monitor with you. It's no good at all if you manage to leave both halves behind.
