Verizon to offer Samsung Omnia II

The Samsung Omnia II will be heading towards Verizon Wireless, although it does make us wonder why the carrier would release a Windows Mobile 6.5 device to go up against the Motorola Droid from their own stable. SEems that it will retail for $200 a pop for a 2-year contract, although at that price point you will need to send in a $100 mail-in rebate. The Omnia II is set for a December 2 release.
