Pleo goes naked before the FCC

The folks over at the FCC must be rubbing their hands in glee as they take apart the Pleo. Yes, that robotic dinosaur that is said to be so lifelike (at least where a robotic toy is concerned to date) that it has captivated all 10 kids out there. Well, the original Pleo might have all the snazzy electronics inside, but it failed to deliver on the sales front, ending its shelf life rather abruptly. Good thing there is this thing called resurrection, as the fleshy robot appeared at CES 2011 earlier this year under the guise of Pleo RB, with the suffix standing for “Reborn”, thanks to adopted manufacturer Innvo Labs.
