Lenovo's new sub-notebook, the Lenovo 3000 V100 confounds us all with its liberal use of numbers in the product name. Thankfully, the specifications are not that cryptic, featuring a 12.1" WXGA widescreen (1200 x 800 resolution) and will be available in Core Solo or Duo CPUs, depending on your budget. Choose from Windows XP Home or Professional Editions as the OS. Other standard offerings are WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, a 1.3-megapixel camera, and fingerprint reader. A nifty and useful function included within is the ability to play music directly from the CD-ROM without booting up the sub-notebook. Prices begin from $1099 upwards, depending on the configuration.
