iOS 4 no longer supports iOS 2.x apps

Out with the old and in with the new, at least that is what Apple portrays with the iOS 4 update which also coincides with the end of support for iOS 2.x apps. Developers should do their bit by reviewing Apple’s iOS 4 Readiness Checklist, where it states that “the App Store will no longer support applications that target iOS 2.x,” alongside a gentle reminder to developers that “[a]ll new applications and updates to existing applications must be built with iPhone SDK 4.” Ah well, the price of technology would be to keep up with the times, and certain moments require you to be brave and make sacrifices, this time by purchasing a newer iPhone.
