Wibree and Bluetooth play nice

Mathematically speaking, Nokia's Wibree technology is now a subset of the Bluetooth realm. Word has it that Wibree technology will now be known as the new ultra low power Bluetooth specification, which in turn boosts Bluetooth's Personal Area Networking reach for smaller devices to be used wirelessly. Visionaries have seen this day come back in 2001, but I suppose everything has its place and time in the greater scheme of things. Consumers can expect to see the first few products that showcase Wibree's integration into the Bluetooth specification sometime within the first half of next year.
