Remember those heroic stories that we keep on watching in movies, where a soldier defies unbelievable odds by returning to a hot zone just to bring an injured comrade back to base? That task can now be assigned to the 6 foot tall robot called Bear that boasts a couple of strong, hydraulic arms that will gently cradle any casualty away from the battlefield to receive treatment back home. It uses treads instead of legs, which is a good idea since robots can't really balance themselves on a pair of legs really well even until today. At first glance, it might look as though the Bear has carried his love over the treshold, and I'll leave the rest up to your imagination.
