Often devices that come in a rugged format includes notebooks, cellphones, and digicams, but SunBrite decided to join in on the fun with its 32" HD-ready all-weather LCD TV that is most at home when installed outdoors. The 3200HD-Pro projects a 1366 x 768 pixel image and comes with 800 nits of brightness, and a 1200:1 contrast ratio. It uses a corrosion-resistant, powder-coated aluminum enclosure that prevents elements like rain, dirt, and insects from spoiling the sensitive internal components. An anti-reflective, impact-and-scratch resistant protects the TV screen, while its speakers are sealed against rain and moisture. The 3200HD-Pro has an internal thermostatically-controlled heater that activates automatically whenever the internal temperature of the TV drops below 32 degrees F, kicking the internal temperature up by another 20 degrees F. This enables the TV to work in environments where the mercury drops to -24 degrees F. Its watertight cable entry system is compatible with most video sources and provides a clean and easy hook-up. SunBrite is offering a 1 year warranty and will retail the 3200HD-Pro for $4495.
