Sony's Active Black Panel faceplate on Sony's CDX-M8815X CD receiver is a 21st-century wonder. The only two buttons on the motorized faceplate serve to power down the receiver and open the face, helping to cut down on button clutter for a clean, unobtrusive installation.



Open up the Active Black Panel, and you have access to a full control panel and a smaller display. The receiver enters stealth mode when your turn off the ignition, making the display and buttons disappear.



Sony CDX-M8815X features a strong internal amplifier (17 watts RMS x 4) to coax every last detail out of your music. Use Sony's EQ7 tone shaping tool to customize the sound, and Dynamic Soundstage Optimizer to create the perfect soundstage for your car.



You interested in an in-dash jukebox? Just burn your favorite MP3 and ATRAC3plus files to disc, and you'll be able to store up to 10 hours' worth. Exclusive in Sony Receivers technology BBE MP processing will make the music files sound great by restoring the dynamic range for more lifelike sound.
