Want to teach your child some DIY skills and science? Well, you could always get him this Solar Powered Bottle Boat. You’ll get instructions and the necessary parts to turn a boring soda bottle into 3 different types of boats, while giving your child some information about alternative energy and solar power. For $24.95, you get a waterproof solar panel, motor, the necessary wires, propellers and bunch of other stuff. You’ll have to provide your own empty soda bottle though. It certainly seems like something fun for children to experiment with.
