DriveDock V4

DriveDock V4

Even though the SATA standard has been around for quite some time already, there are still millions of computers that run on IDE hard drives - relics from the past, I might add. This means newer computers that do not support IDE and yet want to communicate with those ancient hard drives will have to pick up the DriveDock V4. Measuring roughly the size of a matchbox, it allows the users to virtually connect with any consumer internal hard drive to a PC through a USB 2.0 connection. It comes with SATA and IDE/PATA support, with more than enough ports to handle both 2.5" and 3.5" hard drives. The DriveDock V4 retails for $50 - very nifty for technicians and those in the hardware support line.
