What are some of the other ways a MacBook Pro will be able to be improved upon? For starters, Apple will move in the general direction of LED backlights instead of traditional cold cathode fluorescent backlights that are used in the current batch of MacBook Pro notebooks. Industry sources claim that Apple will limit the use of LED technology in the 15" MacBook Pro model only for the time being, with the 13" and 17" models being considered. How does this affect consumers? For starters, you get a brighter display with improved battery life, while tiny details such as a more vivid canvas will definitely go a long way in building up a new generation of MacBook Pro lovers.
