Power, or the lack of it, seems to be the bane of most electronic gadgets which we carry around with us every single day. Our nightly routine no longer includes tucking in the kids to bed, but ensuring that our devices are lovingly hooked up to a power outlet, resting in their respective cradles to recharge for yet another gruelling day tomorrow. The Herman Miller desk looks like a good place to start for gizmoheads among us, boasting the eCoupled wireless charging technology that juices up your gadgets without the need for any cables. All you need to do is lay your cellphones, PDAs, handheld consoles, and digital audio players on the desk and pick it up tomorrow morning fully charged. Unfortunately, there is no word on when the Herman Miller desk will be available, nor is there a price tag attached to it.
