Could it be true that Google might actually open up the doors of its first ever standalone retail store in Dublin, Ireland? This does seem to follow the footsteps of Apple, who more of less wowed folks with their Apple Store when it first opened many years ago, where the entire shopping experience was very different from that of your regular computer store. Well, the Google Store, as it would be called, will be open to the public and have unspecified ?Google merchandise? on sale, according to Google?s Irish unit in a local planning application. This brick-and-mortar establishment would be located in Dublin?s Montevetro office block, where it will be roughly 123 square meters (1,323 square feet) in size, alongside a mezzanine floor extension to that offers additional space.
