LG Optimus Vu spotted in video

When it comes to smartphones, especially those on the Android platform, the more notable names that will pop up in your mind first would be Samsung and HTC surely, and LG should be an afterthought. Well, this does not mean Samsung’s bitter rival on the domestic front is just going to throw in the towel like that – and hence, a leaked video of the upcoming LG Optimus Vu is now making its rounds on the Internet. It seems that this rather boxy device will come with a 5″ touchscreen display with a 4:3 aspect ratio – that is pretty unique, considering the majority of today’s Android phones with large displays take a different route. With capacitive touch buttons that give the game away concerning its Android-powered roots, the LG Optimus Vu does seem all set to take on the Samsung Galaxy Note. (more…)
