Internet Explorer 9 CEOPTo celebrate Safer Internet Day 2012, the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP) have teamed up together with Microsoft to release a special version of Internet Explorer 9. This specially modified version of the web browser features a new default homepage, changes to the search bar to include internet safety search sites, and favorites that link directly to CEOP content. Other additions to the browser include jump list support on its websites and notification support in the Windows 7 taskbar when new content is available.

While the CEOP tools are included directly in Internet Explorer 9, for those of you who wish to continue using Chrome or Firefox, CEOP has released extensions for those web browsers as well. Head over to the CEOP website for more information and download links.
