Nikon Debuts Two Wide-angle Lenses

Nikon Debuts Two Wide-angle Lenses

Nikon has announced two new lenses for its users, namely the 24mm f1.4G ED (pictured) and the 16-35mm f4G ED VR. Both lenses will support its DX and FX mounts, but the latter lens was specifically optimized for FX cameras such as the D700 and D3s to give them an extremely wide angle, while still providing a degree of zoom. This lens offers consistent aperture, higher-quality elements and built-in image stabilization. The 24mm f1.4G ED mentioned above has a wide aperture, which helps your camera take in a large amount of light and focuses quickly. The only downside of it is that it lacks image stabilization. The 16-35mm lens should be available in stores by the end of the month, and should set you back $1260, while the 24mm lens should be available in March for $2200.
