Logitech's Squeezebox range has just received yet another member - the Squeezebox Boom. It is able to stream audio directly from a computer or Internet radio station thanks to a Wi-Fi connection, and boasts better speakers compared to its predecessor (Two 0.75" soft dome tweeters and 30" woofers biamped with 30 watts of power). In addition, it ships with a 3.5mm headphone jack, letting you enjoy your music privately with just about any pair of headphones, so make sure you plug in a good quality model. Other features include an alarm clock that relies on your favorite tunes to get you up in the morning. Expect to pick up the Logitech Squeezebox Boom network music player in both US and European regions this September onwards for $299.99.
