Uono unveils Cocoon coffin Coffin manufacturer Uono has put up its latest creation from designer Andreas Spiegel for sale. Known as The Cocoon, the naming convention is a double entendre as it physically resembles one as well as helps loved and closed ones come to terms with one's passing to a better place. This lightweight coffin weighs just 20kg and uses a soy-based resin that is lined with jute. It takes around 10 to 15 years to decompose, and is suitable for cremation as well.
