Most budget flash-based digital audio players come with a pathetic amount of memory, but Panasonic decided to address the situation with its SV-SD300 by introducing a paradigm shift. There is no internal memory whatsoever - the SV-SD300 runs directly off your SD cards, so its size is limited by your budget. Features include a 4-line black-and-white LCD and a NiMH battery that boasts 23 hours of non-stop playback beforer requiring a recharge. Unfortunately, one questionable decision by Panasonic would be the USB 1.1 connection - we suggest you copy all the files over to the SD card via a USB 2.0 card reader before popping it in. Choose from white, silver, pink, and blue colors for $150. It is currently available in Europe and Japan.
