LEGO Mindstorm project solves Rubik's cube

LEGO Mindstorm project solves Rubik's cube

Automated solvers for the Rubik's cube isn't new any more, but this time round David Gilday entertains the masses with his version that relies on LEGO Mindstorm parts. A computer will be the brain behind the solution, but it can solve more than just a single type of cube as long as the physical dimensions remain between 5cm and 6cm on a side, solving 2, 3, 4, and 5 piece cubes. David has also come up with a separate machine that is capable of handling 6 x 6 x 6 cubes, too. Who says being square isn't cool?
