Izh-1 motorbike gets 2012 design update, remains as a concept

Designer Igor Chak has taken the Izh-1 motorbike and refreshed it with a futuristic update, claiming that this two-wheeler sports more safety features compared to 10 Volvos combined, where it will make riding on the highways and byways a whole lot safer than walking. Among the safety features that you can expect to see within include dual front airbags, a type of crumple zone for front-on crashes, a radar system, on-board cameras for better and safer braking distances, traction control and ABS. The bike is also smart enough to know when you have applied its brakes suddenly, while proximity side sensors help you detect blind spots, with vibrating handlebars that warn riders of potential collisions. Heck, it can even connect to a compatbile cellphone for you to answer phone calls sans using your hand, although this will happen only when you are stationary. We don't think this concept will materialize anytime soon though.
