TokyoFlash has introduced yet another confusing timepiece in the form of the Shinshoku watch that requires at least a PhD to decipher. I'm exaggerating, but when you compare it with our everyday analog and digital watches, reading it can be a pain. You can't just tell the time on the spot - something a watch is supposed to do, but instead have to stand there looking like a dork as you crack your brain on deciphering the information. The Shinshoku animates the current time using a series of LEDs that are arranged in a honeycomb-like grid. The Shinshoku comes with a $116 price tag, PhD not included.
